Waves of Nature Doula Services
Madison Olsen
I am a mother, labor doula and childbirth educator. I was fascinated with pregnancy, labor and birth very early in life. That young interest turned into a passion for birth work. I believe in the body’s ability to birth our babies, I believe in our babies knowledge and intuition and I believe in the women that birth these babies. Labor and birth is ever changing, and I feel it’s best for families to have a solid and supportive birth team when they are bringing their baby into the world. I like to unite partners, families and the team. Spending time getting to know the family’s desires, fears and everything in between is so important in knowing how someone can be best supported in labor. Open communication, feeling safe, being responsive, leaning into emotions and so much information are all ways that I can be of service to you. I have been a part of all types of births; unmedicated vaginal deliveries, home births, birth center births, hospital births, inductions, cesarean sections, births with epidurals (failed and successful), etc. I encourage you to reach out at any point so that I can be some comfort you to on the journey.
